2. Products and Pricing
Our online shop sells car tyres and related services such as tyre changes, balancing, and tyre storage.
All prices include value-added tax (VAT 25.5%). Prices are valid until further notice, and we reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. The prices valid at the time of ordering apply to the order.
We aim to keep product and availability information up to date. If a product is exceptionally unavailable, we will notify the customer promptly and offer an alternative product or order cancellation.
3. Ordering
Orders are placed by adding products to the shopping cart and submitting the order through the online shop. After the order is submitted, the customer receives an order confirmation by email, which serves as proof that the order has been received.
The order is binding once we have confirmed it. We reserve the right to reject an order for justified reasons, such as a pricing error or availability issues.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Business customers may also order on behalf of their company.
4. Payment
Payment is made upon pickup at our store or on-site when the service is provided. We do not charge advance payments.
We accept common payment methods (card, cash). Specific payment methods are communicated at the store.
5. Delivery
We offer the following delivery methods:
Store Pickup
Orders can be collected from our store at Pääskyntie 4, 40320 Jyväskylä. We will notify you by email when your order is ready for pickup.
Posti Delivery
Orders can also be shipped via Posti. Delivery costs are shown during the checkout process.
Stated delivery times are estimates. We are not liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g. carrier delays, exceptional circumstances).
6. Right of Cancellation (Distance Selling)
Consumer customers have a 14-day right of cancellation under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act for distance purchases. The cancellation period begins on the day the customer or a third party designated by the customer (other than the carrier) receives the product.
Exercising Your Right of Cancellation
Notify us clearly by email at info@nordictyres.fi or by phone at +358 40 169 7591 before the cancellation period expires. The notification must include the customer's name, order number, and the products being cancelled.
Return After Cancellation
Products must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the cancellation notice. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
The right of cancellation does not apply to business customers or to products or services that have been customised to the customer's specifications.
7. Return Conditions
Returned products must be:
• Unused and unmounted
• In original condition and packaging
• Free of wear or usage marks
Tyres that have been driven on or mounted on a vehicle cannot be returned. If a product has been damaged due to the customer's negligence, we reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the decrease in value from the refund.
Services (e.g. tyre changes, balancing) cannot be returned after the work has been performed.
8. Warranty and Defects
Products are covered by the statutory defect liability under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. If a product has a defect, the customer has the right to demand repair, replacement, a price reduction, or rescission of the purchase in accordance with the law.
Reporting a Defect
Report any product defect as soon as possible after discovery by email to info@nordictyres.fi. Describe the defect and include the order number and any photographs.
Manufacturer's Warranty
Some products may additionally carry a manufacturer's warranty, the terms of which are stated with the product. The manufacturer's warranty does not limit your statutory rights.
Defect liability does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use, or neglected maintenance.
9. Limitation of Liability
NordicTyres is liable for direct damages caused to the customer to the extent required by law. We are not liable for indirect damages (such as loss of income or interruption of operations) unless mandatory legislation requires otherwise.
Our liability is limited to a maximum of the value of the order in question. This limitation does not affect the consumer's rights under mandatory consumer protection provisions.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiation with the customer.
If the matter cannot be resolved by agreement, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariitalautakunta.fi). Before referring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact consumer advisory services (www.kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta).
Disputes that are not resolved through the above means will be heard in the District Court of Central Finland or the district court of the consumer's domicile.
11. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these terms of service. Amendments take effect when the updated terms are published on our website. Orders already placed are subject to the terms that were in effect at the time of ordering.
12. Applicable Law
These terms and all orders placed in the NordicTyres online shop are governed by Finnish law.
